Prohibited Items & Acceptable Use

TradeAuct enforces strict zero-tolerance rules against prohibited listings and illicit conduct. Violators face listing cancellations, payout holds, and permanent platform expulsion.

1. Prohibited Items & Listing Bans

Counterfeit & Replica Goods

Fake timepieces, replica movements, counterfeit accessories, forged warranty papers, or fake presentation boxes.

Stolen & Lost Property

Items reported stolen, lost, subject to law enforcement notice, or registered on watch register theft databases.

Unauthorized / Encumbered Items

Items that the seller does not possess clear legal title, unencumbered ownership, or explicit authority to sell.

Fraudulent / Altered Documentation

Forged papers, altered serial card numbers, deceptive service certificates, or fabricated dealer stamps.

Illegal & Restricted Goods

Products containing endangered species materials (e.g. non-CITES regulated exotic leathers) or prohibited substances.

Misleading Listings & Ghost Inventory

Listing timepieces not in the seller's physical custody or using deceptive specifications to deceive buyers.

2. Prohibited Platform Conduct

Shill Bidding & Price Manipulation

Bidding on your own auctions, colluding with others to drive up prices, or using bot automation.

Fee Circumvention

Soliciting transactions outside TradeAuct or sharing off-platform contact details to evade marketplace fees.

Payment & Financial Fraud

Using stolen credit cards, initiating fraudulent chargebacks, or engaging in money laundering activities.

Harassment & System Abuse

Abusive communications, manipulating user reviews, or attempting to compromise platform cybersecurity.

Enforcement & Legal Referral

TradeAuct reserves the right to remove any non-compliant listings, freeze linked financial accounts, withhold proceeds associated with fraudulent transactions, and refer severe counterfeiting or fraud to competent UAE law enforcement authorities.

Official Operational Notice:

These policies govern the operations and transactions facilitated on TradeAuct in the United Arab Emirates. All payment transactions, verification protocols, and dispute handling adhere to applicable UAE consumer and electronic transaction regulations.
