Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using the TradeAuct platform. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. About the Platform

TradeAuct is an online marketplace and auction platform that allows users to buy, sell, list, and bid on selected products including watches, collectibles, and premium items. TradeAuct acts as a marketplace facilitator and may not be the direct owner of all listed products. Sellers are solely responsible for the accuracy, authenticity, and legality of their listings.

Counterfeit, stolen, illegal, restricted, or misleadingly described products are strictly prohibited on the platform.

2. Account Registration

Users must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying TradeAuct immediately if you suspect unauthorised access

TradeAuct reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts where false, inaccurate, or misleading information is provided.

3. Seller Responsibilities

Sellers are responsible for ensuring that all listings are:

Accurate, complete, and not misleading
Accompanied by clear product descriptions, photos, prices, and condition details
Transparent about authenticity status and any defects or known issues

TradeAuct is not responsible for false or inaccurate information provided by sellers, but may take action — including removing listings, suspending accounts, or cancelling orders — against sellers who violate platform rules.

4. Buyer Responsibilities

Buyers are responsible for reviewing all listing details carefully before placing an order or bid. This includes reading the product description, condition notes, seller policies, pricing, and any applicable fees before committing to a purchase or bid.

5. Auctions and Bidding

Auction bids placed on TradeAuct are considered binding. Once a buyer places a bid and wins an auction, the buyer is expected to complete the purchase in accordance with the platform rules.

Winning bidders must complete payment within the required time frame specified on the platform.
Failure to complete payment may result in account suspension or restrictions.
TradeAuct reserves the right to cancel suspicious bids or auction results.

TradeAuct may cancel any suspicious orders, bids, or listings at its sole discretion.

6. Fees and Payments

TradeAuct may charge commission or service fees to sellers and/or buyers. These fees will be clearly stated where applicable before completing a transaction.

All payments must be completed through the approved payment methods available on the website. TradeAuct does not accept payments made outside the platform.

7. Shipping, Customs, and Duties

Shipping charges, delivery timelines, customs duties, VAT, taxes, and import fees may vary depending on the buyer's location and the selected shipping method. Unless stated otherwise in the listing, these costs are the buyer's responsibility. TradeAuct is not responsible for delays caused by customs or third-party shipping providers.

8. Returns and Refunds

Returns and refunds may depend on the seller's policy, the product condition, and the applicable platform rules. Verified sellers may offer a return period where stated. However, certain items may be marked as final sale depending on their condition, category, or nature. Buyers should review the return and refund terms before making a purchase.

9. Prohibited Activities

The following are strictly prohibited on the TradeAuct platform:

Listing or selling counterfeit, stolen, illegal, or restricted products
Providing false, inaccurate, or misleading product descriptions
Engaging in fraud, misrepresentation, or any illegal activity
Abuse of buyers, sellers, or platform staff
Attempting to bypass platform payment or communication systems

10. Platform Rights and Enforcement

TradeAuct reserves the right to remove listings, suspend or terminate accounts, cancel orders, restrict access, or take any other action deemed appropriate if a user violates these Terms & Conditions or engages in conduct that is harmful to the platform, other users, or the public.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes between buyers and sellers may be reviewed by TradeAuct. However, TradeAuct's role in disputes is limited to facilitating communication and providing platform-related support. TradeAuct does not guarantee the resolution of disputes between users and is not liable for any losses arising from buyer-seller transactions.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on the TradeAuct platform, including but not limited to logos, design, text, graphics, and software, is the property of TradeAuct or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this platform without prior written permission.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TradeAuct shall not be liable for:

Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage
Loss of profit, data, or business arising from use of the platform
Inaccurate or misleading information provided by sellers
Delivery failures, customs delays, or third-party service issues
Unauthorised access to your account due to your failure to keep credentials secure

TradeAuct's maximum liability in any matter shall not exceed the fees paid by the user to TradeAuct for the relevant transaction.

14. Account Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. TradeAuct reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms & Conditions, suspicious activity, or any other reason deemed appropriate by TradeAuct.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the UAE.

16. Changes to These Terms

TradeAuct may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the platform following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms & Conditions. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
