Seller Policy

Last Updated: August 2026Active & Enforced

The TradeAuct Seller Policy establishes mandatory operational, transparency, and authenticity standards for all individual, professional, and dealer sellers.

1. Mandatory Seller Obligations

Sellers on TradeAuct must adhere to the following strict requirements:

Authority to Sell: You must legally own or have explicit commercial authority to sell the listed timepiece.
Accurate Specifications: Provide precise details on brand, reference, year, movement, case, dial, and condition.
Genuine Photography: Upload high-resolution, unedited photos of the actual physical timepiece in your possession.
Full Defect Disclosure: Disclose all scratches, dings, mechanical issues, service history, and replacement parts.
Box & Papers Transparency: Truthfully disclose whether original box, papers, warranty, or links are included.
Prompt Shipment: Dispatch the watch via approved courier within the designated handling window (usually 48 hours).

2. Prohibited Seller Activities

Selling counterfeit, replica, or Frankenstein (unauthorized composite) timepieces.
Using stock images, manufacturer marketing renders, or photos stolen from other websites.
Shill bidding, artificial price inflation, or bidding on your own auction listings.
Attempting to solicit buyers off-platform to circumvent marketplace fees.

3. Seller Levels & Reputation Tiers

TradeAuct evaluates seller standing using objective metrics rather than sales volume alone:

Standard SellerVerified KYC/KYB seller meeting basic identity and listing standards.
Verified Pro DealerLicensed commercial entity with KYB verification and 100% genuine rating.
Premier PartnerTop-tier dealer with exceptional fulfillment speed, low dispute rate, and premier storage & consolidation privileges.
